          She attended the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, earning a degree in the "oldest drama program in the United States." Sheridan made her television debut in 1997 in the sitcom "Step by Step."

          Television Career

          In 1998-1999, Sheridan played Vivian Winters in the series "Legacy," set on a Kentucky horse farm shortly after the American Civil War.

          Despite critical acclaim, the show was canceled after 18 episodes due to low ratings. From 2
