Who is Rylan Clark?
Rylan Clark was born Ross Richard Clark on October 25, 1988, in Stepney, East London.
He grew up in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex, and was raised by his mother Linda Clark and his older brother Jamie.
Rylan spent his early career working for Optical Express in Lakeside Shopping Centre.
He became a part-time model from the age of 16 and it was during his early modelling career that he adopted the stage name "Rylan".
In 2007, he applied for Big Brother season 8 but revealed: "The day I was going in, it got taken away from me because it got leaked to the press.
It was devastating."
